Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.79%

Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.79%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 4.60% or 520.00 points to trade at 11,820.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 1.37% or 100.00 points to end at 7,400.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 1.30% or 100.00 points to 7,800.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etb (BVC:ETB), which fell 6.25% or 5.00 points to trade at 75.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 5.15% or 100.00 points to end at 1,840.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) was down 4.80% or 490.00 points to 9,710.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Etb (BVC:ETB) fell to all time lows; down 6.25% or 5.00 to 75.00. Shares in Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) fell to 3-years lows; falling 5.15% or 100.00 to 1,840.00. Shares in Promigas (BVC:PMG) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.30% or 100.00 to 7,800.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.68% or 4.53 to $273.63 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.67% or 132.50 to hit $8,087.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 10.40 to trade at $2,695.10 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.11% to 4,166.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 766.06.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 100.31.
